My focus on early financial literacy stems from my internship as an analyst at CoinFund, where I observed two critical issues: financial literacy wasn’t taught in schools, and there was a striking disparity in knowledge about the finance world, even among peers who aspired to enter the field.I founded the Greater Vancouver School Finance Association (GVSFA), a network of 11 regional high school finance clubs. The association hosted western Canada’s largest high school finance conference, attracting 150 students and securing sponsorship from BMO and TD Bank. To date, we have raised over $9,000 and donated 500 finance-related books to literacy organisations through the Great Canadian Book Rescue. Moreover, as the president of the Eric Hamber Finance and Economics Club, my team "Wolf of Willow Street" ranks in the top 10 percentile of the Wharton Global Youth Program Investment Competition among 5,000+ teams worldwide.
